  • Reveal the greatest conspiracy in the Space Age
  • Play with 3 different characters (Brawe, Luna and Danny)
  • Travel and explore 4 planets
  • Be part of an intriguing and hilarious storyline
  • Meet the space pirates, Interstellar government, secret agents and more
  • Two game-play modes: Hard-Core and Casual

"It’s a delightful mix of past and future, and provides a whimsical backdrop.."

"In just about all respects, Kaptain Brawe would have fit in nicely during genre’s heyday. With its lush 2D cartoon art and “verb coin” interface, the game shares more than a few similarities with mid-‘90s titles like The Curse of Monkey Island."

"...just so playfully lighthearted, it’s impossible not to be charmed by it. There are even some non-essential objects to click on strictly for giggles."

Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World review

By Navagon posted 19th January

One of the better examples of adventure games trying to bring back the good old days of Lucasarts adventures. This one gets a lot of things right: the quirky, eye-pleasing art style, mostly logical puzzles, optional hints and hotspot highlighting etc.

The biggest omission is the total lack of voice acting. Could be worse, I suppose. Bad voice acting would have killed it. There are also a few indications that this is a translated title in the text too, which doesn't help matters. It's also a bit light on characters. Which is odd given that they don't need to worry about voice talent.

It's also a bit short.

But all in all, it's a good game that, with a bigger budget, could have been a great game. Even as it is though, the pros far outweigh the cons.

Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World review

In a nut shell Kaptain Brawe is well made, yet a bit short, old school adventure game. Stylistically I'd place it some where around such classics as Curse Of The Monkey Island and Broken Sword.

Surprisingly enough Kaptain Brawe doesn't have voice acting, which is a bit odd choice in this day and age, but ultimately it doesn't lessen the experience, as the music and sound effects are nice enough.

As far puzzles go, Kaptain Brawe is a bit easy. It has a couple of harder puzzles, but ultimately the game offers a very little challenge to more seasoned adventurers. Still, for the right prize, the game is worth a look for every adventurer.
