Loved it

By Raysomona posted 27th January

This is and always be a very good game for me. I loved the lvl system as well as co-op heck if anyone plays this still I would love play co-op with someone. All in all I think this was well worth the price and very challenging.

Co-op put it over the edge of a two for me, but I should mention this game is just like every other tower defense game out there. Doesn't really try anything new and not the master of its class. But hey, tried but true, it works, and co-op was fun.

Not really my genre, but its obvious that this is a well thought out game. I dont think i have ever seen a mainstream tower defense game, but having played this i would LOVE to see what EA for example could do with one. Its cool that you dont have to solo this one, and even cooler that it came with the indiefort bundle.

This isn't just your typical tower defense game in a 3d setting, the height of your towers actually matter in this game. The addition of being able to build platforms makes this game almost play as a puzzle hybrid. It will definitely challenge even the most experienced tower defense enthusiast, though with 4 different difficulty settings, easy enough for newcomers to the genre to get situated.

Unpolished tower defence in 3D

By HCJorma posted 10th December 2012

I bet everyone has played tower defence somewhere. Well, this has exactly the same idea, it's just 3D. Fun to play if you like the genre.

Still, to me, the title looks unfinished with all its small intial letters, poor menu and more poorer turret upgrade opportunities. Asking 8€ for the game is a theft; if you want to buy it, do when it's on big sale.

You can find better tower defences on the internet, and they are fully free to play!

Two stars instead of one is just because the developer(s) made something right: the 3D.

Terrorhedron 3D Coop Tower Defense review

Terrorhedron, it is a quite enjoyable game, with different stuff than in just a simple TD game.

What would you say like building all around the block, while the enemies can move all around themselves. It has spots where it suddenly bumps up the difficulty too much, that it gets quite hard to manage on.

But most of the time you can get a quite good time waster out of this game.

The multiplayer portion of the game i haven't tried out yet. So i can't tell much about it.

But up to 8 player online coop sounds like something different.

I recommend this game, so it will be possible to have more people hanging out in multiplayer. And just cause this game does deserve a bit more.

Fresh, but punishingly difficult.

There's not really a WHOLE lot to say about this game, but here goes.

Terrorhedron is a pretty enjoyable take on the tower defense genre. It doesn't break down any walls, but the three-dimensional stages and the 'building' mechanic make it feel fresh and entertaining.

I haven't tried playing multiplayer yet, which I understand is one of the big attractions of the game, but I can only hope it makes the game easier. All I can say for certain is that the single-player stages are RIDICULOUSLY difficult, even on easy. I'm guessing having more players increases your resource counts, but I don't know.

Anyway, this game is a lot of fun, if you can get past the difficulty and lack of documentation.
