Tropico 4: Quick-Dry Cement DLC review

One of the earlier DLC's for Tropico 4. Quick-Dry Cement adds the Cement factory which not only allows you to build early industry (without needing blueprints) but also makes your builders more effective once built. This stacks with more cement factories. DLC is compatible with Tropico 4 brought from other locations (Eg- Retail, amazon, gamestop) EXCEPT FOR STEAM

The cement factory provides a huge boost towards getting your island up and running. Keep it fully staffed and move El Presidente to the construction site -- building very quickly move from empty plots to finished.

A rather basic DLC pack with a good set of items that, I feel, should probably have been in the default game. Regardless of this it's nice to see the cement industry factored into the game like this.

The flavour items and bonuses for setting up a sprawling metropolis are a bit boring in my opinion but for the price that can be overlooked.

Though the cement factory is fairly boring, it is a useful addition. The extra decorations are nice too. At full price this is definitely non-essential however. If it drops in price, or they have a deal, it's probably worth it if you enjoy the game.

This is a very minor add-on that is probably only worth the full price for the diligent aesthete who wants a larger variety of decorations to beautify their city.

The cement plant is useful but certainly not game changing but the new decorations are fun (the flag pole is a particularly good addition.
