Do not purchase this game. It does not allow you to go any further that an hour or less withour burning down the entire city that you wasted your time on. I have asked for help with this game and everything I have been advised does not work. The patch that comes with it will not download at all! Do not waste your money on this game or you will regret it....

Grand Ages: Rome US review

I found Grand Ages: Rome to be a very entertaining game. 5 factions to play with different abilities, non-linear storyline and character development. The game is mission-based, with various objectives to meet to move on to the next, and optional objectives to meet for bonuses. The missions themselves are sometimes quick, sometimes moderately long, but you can usually play one or more of them in a single play session. The game is sort of a breed between the Caesar city-building series and Age of Empires RTS wargame, with different focus depending on the missions, so you can always pick what you do according to your mood. This was one of my favorite elements of this game, and it was well-worth the money spent to buy it. Its not overly complex, but it has sufficient details and possibilities to allow replayability.
