A Hitchhikers Guide to VOID

Using VOID is much like buying games on GamersGate. Except, you know... it's FREE!

My slots

The VOID system is based on slots. Slots decide how many games you can play; for example, you need an open slot to choose and play a VOID game. The number and types of slots you have decide how many games you have available at a given time.

Look for My VOID Slots to the left.

Pick your favourite game

To fill a slot with a VOID game, select an empty slot. This will take you to a new screen with all of the available VOID games. Select a game, and confirm that you like to add it to your slot. Naturally you can also just go straight to http://www.gamersgate.com/void where you’ll see all of the VOID games and select one from there.

Download and Install

Once a slot is occupied by a game you can download and install it by selecting a slot with a game and clicking ’install’.

Waiting for the fun

Whenever you launch a VOID game you will see a few video advertisements. Support the developers by watching them, you’re about 60 seconds from gaming!

Remember!

After a set amount of days you will have the option to exchange the game in your slot for another one, or you can just keep playing the same game forever. Slots can be upgraded to quicken the cooldown and you can also get more slots! Click here to find out how.

Slots, what are they?

Slots VOID is based on slots. You need an open slot to play a VOID game so the number of slots decides how many games you have access to at any given time. To play a VOID game you must place it in one of your slots. You can access your slots by logging in to gamersgate.com and and clicking My VOID slots on the menu to the left. To fill a slot with a game, go to gamersgate.com/void. Select a game, click Add to slot and click the slot you would like to add it to. Once a slot is occupied by a game you can download it and play!

Special slots

Special slots are upgraded version of Normal Slots

To upgrade your slots, go to My VOID Slots, select a slot and click upgrade.

Cooldown

After a set amount of days you will have the option to exchange the game in your slot for another one, or you can just keep playing the same game forever. Slots can be upgraded to shorten the cooldown using your GamersGate Blue Coins.

 

Newbie Protection

The first game you add to a slot can be changed before cooldown using the Newbie Protection.
