GamersGate - The website
If the game is to be installed through a site like UPlay or Steam, it will be advertised as such and you will be provided with clear instructions on how to do this in your email after purchase. Otherwise, most game are downloaded from Gamersgate and installed on your system. One of the nice features is that you can save a backup of the download files if you wish.
lthough new games as AC4 specify it http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-AC4DE/assassins-creed-iv-black-flag-deluxe-edition
Others older don't as HOMM6 http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-MMH6GE/might-and-magic-heroes-vi-gold-edition
As the others basically said as well, if it's a Ubisoft game, it'll be Uplay unless stated otherwise. On the GG page it just says 'other DRM' which should just mean Uplay.
