Where are save files located on Vista 32-bit?

I am trying to find the save files for Gothic 1 on Windows Vista 32-bit. They don't seem to be in both the installation directory (.../Program Files/Piranha-Bytes/Gothic/) and the .../appdata/ directory. Could someone please direct me? (I'd like to backup my save files, and remove some so I don't have to scroll down every time to save my latest save.)

I forgot to note: There is *no* \Gothic\ folder in my ...\USER\Documents\ directory, nor in the ...\USER\Documents\My Games\ directory.

Have you tried to search in AppData (hidden) or in VirtualStore (User/Appdata/local/VirtualStore/Programs or something similar)?

Ah! Your suggestion about the VirtualStore was correct!

The save files are located in the following directory:

DRIVE:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Piranha-Bytes\Gothic\Saves\
