noob question alert sorry

just picked up batman AC for a bargain 11.98.

how can i change the download directory? i may be being blind but i cant find settings and there is no way i can free up 17gb on my ssd but have almost 2tb free on my drive d

It will download in the same location where you save the small downloader file.

Yes, save the downloader to D: and run it from there. "Gamersgate temporary files" folder will be created in the same location.

Creat a downloads folder in your D drive then select "save as" option and then this will bring up the explore options and select D:\Downloads

do this when you download the downloaders then you wont need to move files and will be automatically downloadedd to that file
