Thanks and welcome to ZeniMax Online. As everyone knows by now, we are working on Elder Scrolls Online, the Elder Scrolls MMO. We are tremendously excited about this project and its potential, especially after the huge success of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
I have been in the multiplayer game development business for a long time – my first multiplayer game project was in 1988 and I went on to be the producer of Dark Age of Camelot when I was at Mythic Entertainment.
I've been given this tremendous opportunity by ZeniMax Media to start ZeniMax Online and to build a team to make The Elder Scrolls Online. We're part of the ZMI team, which includes Bethesda Softworks (our publishing partner), Bethesda Games Studios (where console/single player Elder Scrolls and Fallout titles are developed), id, Arkane Studios, and others.
We founded ZeniMax Online in 2007 and have been building a world-class online game development team. Our employees have worked at the best companies in the business - we have many employees who have worked on three or more MMOs and other games.
Hunt Valley is a great location for an online gaming company, as it has a lot of talent already in the area at other studios, and has a great easy pace of life - almost an "out in the country" feel - even though it is minutes from the Baltimore beltway and just over an hour from Washington DC.
We have a dedicated, experienced team, who is working very hard to make the best MMOG of all time, and we're committed to the idea that if you want to make a great MMO, you have to "go big or go home". It's a tough, competitive market - but we plan on making a big impact with Elder Scrolls Online, and we're poised to do just that.
But, we can't do that without a strong team. If you're hardworking, game-loving, passionate, and know you can contribute to a large-scale MMO, then let us know. Check out the jobs page and drop us a note explaining how you can help us. We'd love to hear from you.
