I don't like the idea of charging extra for spritepacks and it's not as if Paradox are a struggling publisher that needs the extra support these days. First of all, I ran the game before installing the spritepack and there were already units in the Yankee and Confederate uniforms. So not exactly an essential purchase. Maybe as the game progresses and more unit types come into play, the spritepack may mean there are more varieties of units. However as I said, not essential but maybe worth a few blue coins in a sale?

A perfect dlc: does not give you any advantage in gameplay, but enhances the experiene by providing you better graphics. Not forced-to-buy and it is absolutely up to you to buy it. Great :)

Very nice DLC. Definitely worth the price. Just requires some minor balancing for the American Civil War but other than that the new features and new scenario are worth the money.

Good sprite pack for those who will play USA and CSA. It gives bit more visual flavor. The dlc doesn't offer lot of new content but it doesn't cost much in the first place so if you have bits of coins left after buying your game, it is not a bad choice to use your last 1 dollar on this sprite.

If like me you love just to kick some yankee ass for the confederacy, worth getting. The new sprites provide a nice change from the standart ones.

I'm not a huge fan of buying sprite packs, but I ended up getting this with the collection. Like most sprite packs this doesn't alter gameplay, but it does make the game better to look at. I especially like this one, since my favorite nation to play is the US. If you really need to add to the visuals, then go ahead and pick this up.

Great spritepack as usual, tough during normal gameplay, you are unlikely to see most sprites. In fact, you'll probably see only the infantry and maybe guards. Who create armies containing ONLY artillery or engineers?

Once again Paradox brings us a sprite pack: this time for Victoria 2 - A House Divided. Fitting for that expansion, this dlc gives new uniforms for the CSA and USA, making the American Civil War even prettier to fight than it was before. Even tough these sprites are just cosmetic changes, and don't change gameplay in any way, it certainly helps immersion.

The Civil War sprite pack is great now I can use U.S. units for the instead of the generic units Victoria 2 offers. Great deal, great game, and a large variety of game play.
