An early work of the Amanita Design studio - the one responsible eg. for Czech film movie called Kooky (I recommend to see it too, by the way...as well as to play Samorost 1, it is for free)

After playing it, I am pretty sure I got closer to the meaning of Universe! Well...at least if there are dogs out there in the space. And if simplicity is a real beauty. The game is simply cute....not at all in the kitchy way, though.

Of course, it is a little game and you can go through it on one breath.. Point of it is not to get stuck inside, but just to enjoy it as a whole, so it take about half an hour.. But I bet you will have that a bit stupid, childish smile on your face during and few moments after the playthrough.

Samorost2 is beautiful little mini-adventure, point and click style. Short, sweet and made using Flash, take on the role of a little guy in a white suit in a world of weird organic planets as he attempts to recover his dog from a race of kidnapping aliens. Very short game, you'll finish it within half an hour or so, seasoned P&C adventurers in 15 minutes. But the art design is so great and there are some cool puzzles which fit perfectly with the quirky little world created here, including filling a taxi up with the fart gas of space dugongs and lighting up a cave by making a luminscent plant grow with your dog's urine. Any die-hard P&C fans must get this, anyone else interested in games with good, hand-(drawn? made?) art should also take a little chunk out of their day to enjoy Samorost2.
