Europa Universalis Collection

By Ingvar_Dias posted 16th January

I remember when I was just a boy, the sun shining outside, all my friends fooling around, and all I was doing was playing Europa Universalis (I and II). I was really addicted to this game, trying to create an powerful empire with the Ottomans, or "giving worlds to the world" (Like Camoens used to say) with the Portuguese. All of that on a daily basis.

Sure, there are some known bugs, randoms crashes (On the earlier games, EU I, EU II), but the root, the essence of the game is there.

(Re) Writing history, creating the Russian Empire with Pskov, or advance Germany's independence date to, let's say, 250 years before it actually happened. All of that is possible, in various ways.

What I wrote above, feet's in every single game of this Mega-Pack.

From the earlier Europa engine to the Clausewitz engine, evolution will be noticed.

With various soundtracks from different decades, you'll feel more immersion.

Sure, the games on this pack may not be perfect games, they have flaws, but one thing is certain, you'll spend thousand of hours of fun with those games.

4 Great Games from One Great Developer

By Jakalak posted 30th July 2011

Paradox Interactive has been making excellent grand strategy games for a long time, and now it's both convenient and cheap to check out almost their entire Europa Universalis series.

Carve out an empire from the smallest nation, and using diplomacy, war, and religion, ensure your supremacy on the face of the earth. Although I wish this pack also included Rome, I suppose we can't have everything.

So if you have around 5 years to play these games, then I would completely recommend them. They will keep you occupied for much longer than that, and will continue to surprise and amuse you with little oddities like AI Byzantium somehow lasting until the end of the game.
