Power Of Defense: Defend Your World! review

Maybe it's because I'm playing the patched game, but I fail to find "the balance issues" other reviewer mentioned. Game is bright, fun and challenging; new robots which are unlocked through the levels bring refreshing changes to strategies available for deployment.

Recommended.

Power Of Defense: Defend Your World! review

The games has some good ideas and also shows some artistic talent with the dressup of the robots. Unfortunately balancing of the different robots is poor, there is a lack of meaningful shortcuts and this can easily result in just finding one strategy and sticking to it. The single player campaign is trying to be humourous, but becomes dull due to repetiveness and typos.

Despite its shortcomings, I still found it to be a couple of fun hours.

Die, you piece of metal! Die... That's great. I had a lot of fun with this game. Never heard before about Power of Defense or 4sdk, seems to be their first game on GG. Don't know why nobody rated this game before. The goal is plain: Put 10 robots through the portal on opponent's side. Sounds simple - but it becomes more and more difficult. On level 12 I had to swallow hard. There are 3 platforms: The first you see on the video, the second ist a crystal platform and the last is my favourite one: The Hell! You will get a new robot each time you win a level until you have 13 robots. Too much for my taste - but with every robot you gain new strategical possibilities. To sum up, I can say I had a lot of fun with Power of Defense... A must-have!
