A great simultaneous turn-based tactical shooter. I have played mostly single player and the rounds are quick but challenging. I will usually play one round at a time and it will take me three to four attempts to succeed which makes it very satisfying when everything works out. I will say that at times it feels like that some level of luck is involved in my victory.

This game has the potential to live through the ages. It's like chess, except with machine guns and rocket launchers, which is the best way to play chess.

Good tactical experience. Campaign story is packed with some philosophical stuff (not really deep:)), interesting levels and tasks. Multi-player game modes have some issues with balance of power or possibilities of opposing sides. Best game modes are: secure, disputed and charge. Unfortunately there's no in-game clock, so you can think "forever".

Frozen Synapse is surprisingly addicting. At first, I was skeptical, since I don't really enjoy playing strategy games, but Frozen Synapse is not an RTS and not even your typical turn based strategy game. The beauty of FS is that it is all about predicting your opponents moves and executing a simple to complex strategy based on your educated guesswork. You plan, plan, plan, then hit a button and the screnario plays out. Each planning phase is 5 seconds long which feels just right.

Multiplayer is also extremely fun and you can play numerous games at once akin to how one might play Scrabble or Civilization via email. Frozen Synapse can optionally email you when it's your turn. Multiplayer is equally, if not more so addicting than the singleplayer game just because facing off against another human opponent makes things more exciting.

This is the most fun "casual" game I've ever played. You can jump straight in and out and it is as simple or complex as you make it out to be. Highly recommended!

Brilliant, a solid and original tactical game with a great soundtrack. Fun and addictive gameplay, it's fast paced, rewarding and smart. Multiplayer mode is a great addition to the game!

Outsmart your opponents by determing their moving pattern, almost like chess with weapons. Tactically taking down room after room flawlessy and eliminate the enemies gives a great feeling of satisfaction.

I thoroughly enjoy turn-based strategy games, and Frozen Synapse doesn't disappoint. With several game types to choose from and receiving 2 copies per purchase you're almost guaranteed to find someone to play against the first time you load up the game!

This game is unlike any other you will find. It's tactical S.W.A.T. based kind of action with a simulation concept. You plan your moves, and the moves you think the enemy will do and you can see the results play out before you finalize your choice. After-which your decision is final and you watch your plan out in conjunction with the enemies hoping that you were right. It can be an intense game, has a good single player experience and a very exhilarating multiplayer. I highly recommend this title.
