Boring...

By secessio posted 22nd Sep 2011

I got the game when it was on a Promo. Needless to say, I think $1 would be the most I would suggest spending on this title. I don't like it for many reasons. Mainly it is just another tetris/puzzle/destroy the matching pieces game. How many of these games are out there? Regardless, anything over $1 is a waste. This game will have you uninstalling it before you finish it. On a side note, I JUST noticed that I had not reviewed this game. I bought it months ago and that must show you how much interest it generated...enough for me to forget about it!

Chains is a game that likes to keep things simple. The general idea is a simple “match the colors and make them disappear” formula much like other puzzle game out there. Chains uses a solid physics engine to change up the gameplay and make the solution quite different from level to level. This game is simple to play and difficult to master. The only thing which keeps it from achiving 5 starts is that there are only 20 levels. However, the ticket price is cheap enough to compensate. If you like puzzlers, you’ll really enjoy Chains.

Just when I thought I'd sworn off Match 3s forever Chains comes along and pulls me back. A really great entry in the puzzle game genre with a twist in the form of a physics engine.

It can be twitchy at times and the pieces are random so losses can feel a bit cheap on some levels.

Over all an enjoyable way to spend a few minutes, or a few hours.

Also no DRM so ++ for that.

In this game, you have to think a bit. Sometimes, it will stress you, sometimes it will let you clear the level how fast, or how slow you like.

It is very innovative and as i bought it under the holiday sale, it was very cheap.

But it is worth the price tag at full price too.
