The Neinzul are an insectoid race of perpetual "younglings" that live for an extremely short span before dying and being superseded by fully-aware and vicious replacements. Their Enclaves form mini-collectives with their own personalities, goals, and desires. In this second expansion to AI War, players face off against the Neinzul minor factions, against new AI types in general, and enlist the help of the friendlier members of this new alien presence.

Enclave Starships bring a long-awaited feature: mobile space docks. New map types and new capturables add more excitement. Optionally, Hybrid Hives bring a new type of AI logic to the game: these free agents are like a coordinated pack of velociraptors hunting you against the backdrop of the regular AI forces. For advanced players, the Hybrid Hives provide more cut-throat opposition than ever.

This is a great game, but it can be difficult to get into. It's best played with a group of friends, but it's also perfectly capable to be played solo. The learning curve can be a bit steep and this expansion just adds even more that you need to know.

A unit filled extremely cheap expansion for AI War. It adds more units and firepower, as well as another race to the galaxy! You can't beat the sale price (.50) or the huge amount of content!

Children of Neinzul, the second expansion for AI, while not as big and content rich as the Zenith Remnant, adds a new interesting alien race to the already huge game. The new Neinzul ships are an interesting addition that have quickly degenerating health useful for a quick influx off firepower and ships. The expansion also includes the awesome addition of the Hybrids AI plots. These Neinzul/AI hybrids change the gameplay drastically as they will actively seek out and attack the player. To combat against this new threat players have to attack and destroy the AI's Hybrid "industry". The new dynamics introduced by these plots are worth the price of admission alone. The game also adds new minor factions and AI types mainly focused on using the new Neinzul ships. As always the game remains very well balanced and playable at many levels.

This expansion won't disappoint fans of the original game and Zenith. Plus the profits the developer receives from the sale of this expansion go to a Child's Play, so by buying it you are also giving to a very worthwhile charity.
