This game is brilliant on several levels, from the admittedly creepy moments of silence to the fantastically self aware writing.

The only things that let it down are frustrating combat and tension that is ruined by the X-COM: Enemy Unknown style camera jumps and zooms upon enemy reveals.

I would still recommend it though, as it looks beautiful, not only graphically, but on aesthetic level as well.

The Alan wake franchise is a lovely franchise and a much neede take on todays horror genre, with a great story, and fantastic, but somewhat repetative gameplay. The DLC in this package also really adds to the game in a great way, and for the price it's highly reccomended picking up this package if you are interested in the Alan Wake franchise.
