Vectorman

Rating: 3.8 (28 votes cast)

It looks like the environmentalists were right. In the year 2049, Earth has become so damaged due to littering and pollution that the human race has left to seek out new planets to colonize. In an effort to repair the damage done to the planet, mechanized Orbots have been created to clean up while mankind is off exploring. Trouble occurs when an Orbot named Raster is accidentally attached to a nuclear missile. Raster renames himself WarHead and declares himself ruler of Earth. VectorMan, another Orbot who is in charge of transporting nuclear waste to the sun for disposal, returns to Earth to find all the other Orbots under the control of WarHead. Now, it is up to the transforming VectorMan to save the planet.

Features

  • All the stages and characters in VectorMan were created with pre-rendered 3D models.
  • The original name of WarHead, Raster, is a reference to the computer term, raster graphics.

This game brings back memories when I first originally played it on the Genesis. Totally addicting and fun to just play and not get too frustrated about.

I bought this game during the same, and even then it is worth the original price (just didn't had the funds at the time). I would recommend this game to anyone that is a fan of nostalgia, or someone that just wants to have fun and don't want to pay 40+ dollars on the newer games that might not run on their computer.
