UT3 offers some of the best competitive and cooperative multiplayer of any shooter. I've had this game for just over 2 years and go back to playing it often. It is uniquely smooth, fast, and intense. This is a perfect e-sport experience with a variety of game modes.

Got this for pretty cheap, as a game its ok, has its ups and downs but to me it was disappointing, I would have rated it lower due to it not meeting my expectations but the mod support and the various games you can play like that are well worth the admission price. Also its a solid shooter dont get me wrong, just didnt live up to what I wanted and was expecting.

Unreal Tournament 3 Black is a solid multi-player shooter, it has great graphics, a large variety of weapons and play modes. I even find UT3 fun in single player mode even though defeating the bots is way easier than defeating real people in multi-player. If you like FPS games and you haven't played UT3 yet then do yourself a favor and buy this game.

Pros: Very similar to its 2004 predecessor, but with significantly beefed up graphics and a faster pace. There are no performance issues as of q1 2011, with many lower-end cards allowing for high-end video specs.

Cons: I have constantly been disconnected when trying to play online because of an annoying 'duplicate id detected' issue. I wouldn't have mentioned this had this not been a recurring issue for many people over a number of years. Shame on Epic/Gamespy for not fixing it, as this game is nothing without multiplayer.

Offers great single and multiplayer fun. There is a story in the single player mode, but it is multiplayer oriented where, in a way, you do the same things as you probably would in the multiplayer and the enemy is controlled by the AI. They tried to fit all this in a semi-ok story and an impressive voice acting, though for the best fun, multiplayer is where you should spending your time. A lot of people can still be found on various official and custom made maps; the weapons are numerous and interesting to use, while the kills are satisfying. Well worth your time, but mostly if you're into multiplayer battles.

Essentially nothing new to add. UT3 IS an improvement over UT2004. My reason for `only`4 stars is the demanding graphics of this game. UT2004 was uncomplicated even on mediocre system of it´s time. But UT3 puts your system to the test. Other than that it´s a ton of fun.

And like the UT2004 version on GamersGate is uses a serial for installing only.

Similar UT 2004, UT 3 is very fun and entertaining. More new maps, next gen graphic, simpler gameplay than UT2004. In singleplayer, no more "Unreal Tournament", there is a brand new campaign and UT 3 supports coop, up to 4 players. But in multi, Double Domination game type is removed, and a new game type is Warfare.

Graphics and sounds are awesome. Although this game is published in 2007, but it is still one of the most beautiful games which are designed by Unreal 3 engine.

A run-and-gun game must have for FPS gamers.

Fun fast paced multiplayer (there is a single player campaign also, but really, it's just you versus bots) first person shooter that manages to somewhat live up to the legacy of its name, Unreal Tournament. Maybe we've just outgrown this type of game, who knows, regardless, it doesn't feel the way the first Unreal Tournament felt, or the 2004 edition.

Having said this, it is still a lot of fun and the incredible number of modifications from the community lift this from an average title to a must buy, for 5 euros (what I got it for) you can't get more value then that.

UT3 Black is the definitive Deathmatch game. No other FPS comes close to the carnage and sheer adrenalin rush to be experienced in UT3. You can not call yourself a FPS fan if UT3 black is not in your collection.

UT3 Black is the ultimate successor to Unreal Tournament 2004. From the graphics to the fast paced gameplay, UT3 Black is the premier shooter even for casual fans. Warfare is takes UT2K4's Onslaught mode up a notch. Much of the core gameplay, weapons and vehicles from the previous iteration remain, but one new item that is a delight to control is the Dark Walker, with its huge tentacles and appearance straight out of 2005's War of the Worlds. Countless user mods add to the experience, ranging from the eye popping maps, characters and weapons. If you are a fan of the series, and have enough hardware power to run UT3, I recommend buying this.
