• Gargoyle Race – First appearing in Ultima VI, this proud and strongly principled race reside in Ter Mur, separated from Sosaria by the great Stygian Abyss.  UO players will be able to experience first-hand the dark and secret world of these clawed and winged creatures, including the new flight system.
• The Stygian Abyss – One of the largest dungeons ever created for UO, the great Abyss is host to new legions of creatures set on delivering their own form of vicious justice.  Areas of the Abyss will be PvP (player versus players), serving as battle zones for players and monsters alike.
• Three New Skill Sets – Stygian Abyss introduces three new skills sets, including the Bladeweaver’s ranged combat art of Throwing, the Artificer’s arcane craft of Imbuing and the Mystic’s dark magic of Mysticism.
• New Lands – The new expansion will feature new lands – including the Gargoyle homeland of Ter Mur and Britannian’s Fire Island
