SAS Secure Tomorrow review

This game feels a lot like F.E.A.R, mainly because it uses the same engine.

It doesn't feel as if the developers just took it and rolled with it, instead of trying to do something new and unique with it. As a result, the game itself is solid but without imagination.

It's trying to be tactical without truely being so, and it tries to blend in more action at the same time. This makes it feel half-baked, trying to cater to two groups without pleasing either one.

The graphics are not top of the line because it uses the by the time this game came out quite dated F.E.A.R engine. The shadows are too hard, and the lighting looks quite bland. Particle effects however are back in full force, leaving holes in walls with lots of dust flying around.

The sounds are quite ok, but the voice-acting is hit and miss. Sometimes it's good, other times it's just bad as it tries to be too British.

All in all, this game isnt quite all it could have been, which is a shame. 3/5.

I enjoyed this game, it was very smooth and action-oriented with a hint of strategy. The only thing I really disliked was the random game crashes and freezes. Other than that, it was a great game.

Although the graphics aren't as good as they could be (especially the character faces), this is a fairly solid shooter.

Although you can't control your squad, the squad mechanics are pretty good and they will back you up if you get into trouble. Being able to add a silencer and scope to your assault rifle was also a nice touch.

I felt the story was a little short and seemed to end abruptly, but the missions in the game had a good variety of locations.

If you like shooters I would say that at the current price this game is very good value, so give it a go!
