I loved the old Sam and Max comic books, then the early games in the 90s. Unfortunately, getting some of those old games working is a bit hit or miss, so I was thrilled when this series of games came out. Short (one can play through one in a couple of hours), encouraging thinking out of the box, these are far more faithful to the originals than I had expected, and I'm looking forward to ordering the later series after we get around to finishing the first set. Great for the whole family (both my wife and I play them, then our 13 and 10 year old daughters take their cracks at it, and can finish it in a similar amount of time)!
