    FEATURES

Singles 2: Triple Trouble is a romantic and erotic comedy involving three young singles who share an apartment. Thrilling flirts, wild parties and turbulent affairs are pre-programmed in this life sim with adventure elements: The player moves in, little knowing that his (or her) ex is also in residence. Is love really dead? Will there be hell to pay when a relationship develops with your rival? Will the landlord of the local bar insist on having his say? It's all in your hands, because it's up to you to decide how the three singles will cope with everyday life. Cooking, watching TV and tidying up are just as important as talking and cuddling. And naturally, all three have to go to work.

    • A rousing story that involves the player in a romantic and erotic comedy
    • Three main characters (the player, his/her ex and their fellow tenant), two secondary characters and a few minor characters
    • Play as a male or female main character
    • Free-play or (new) Story-mode: the story develops throughout 15 quests
    • More ways to interact than before; for example: invite friends and have a party
    • New locations, e.g. the bar  - a meeting place for lonely hearts
    • Lots of new and improved features ensuring longer and greater enjoyment
    • Erotic, sensual and sexy - but not full of sex
    • A game for a mass market, attractive to both sexes
    • The modern 3D engine supports DirectX 9 effects and shaders, atmospheric lighting and realistic light and shadows

A decent game. Picture the sims stripped down and a bit more adult with a bit better graphics and you'll be close. Tha main difference is you can't customize the singles or create your own, which is a shame, though the singles do gain experience points which you can use to improve their abilities in certain areas so there is some customization. The storyline the game comes with is okay, and it gives some goal-based gameplay which I enjoyed (I often find myself shiftless and adrift in the sims) but it's nothing spectacular. My new roomate is my ex?! Gasp! It doesn't branch but the ending can change based on your actions and you can keep playing once the storyline ends, which was a plus. For ten dollars it's a decent low-budget alternative to the sims, though if you love all the clothing, character, and furniture options in the sims you'll likely find this game wanting since in most areas it has less. Oh, and I think the screenshots on this site are from a beta or something, the actual game is much better polished graphically and doesn't have bits of code in the characters dialogues.
