“The plot about the extraterrestrials and subterrestrials (a mysterious group of moles) ties the overall story together very well. We also encountered some old friends like the Swampling, Goldilocks, the feministic Little Red Riding Hood, and the wolf.” (GameStar)

    PC Games 03/2009

“Some very well done characters. I especially like the kind of mean Little Red Riding Hood. If these are the kind of characters you already liked in the previous games, you will also like the new game.” (PC Games)

    This is spoiler free review.

It's a good game with a couple of flaws. Firstly its very short (it tooks me 6 hours and I wasn't in a hurry). Secondly some of the humor around the Red Riding Hood character comes off as unpleasent and cheap.

While this game was originally developed and released for the German market, the translation into English and voice overs are all native speaker quality.

Purest will hate the help system as it provides complete solutions to each problem in game. They may also find it a bit easy. Non-purests will hate that there isn't a 'highlight hotspot' key and some pixel hunting is involved.

The puzzles are dressed up in original clothing and there was only one point in the games where I felt the solution was illogical or unguessable. The hint system told me exactly what to do to solve the puzzle, but I still don't understand what that was the solution.
