Street Fighter IV review

Quick review:

Positives:

- Bright, colourful and sherp graphics.

- A variety of modes.

- Each character is unique and not just in their appearance which is rare in fighting games.

- Online for me has been lag free and quick to find games.

- It provides plenty of challenge to veterans and slowly eases in the newcomers.

- It doesnt need a big expensive computer to run on high.

I manage to run it on full settings with:

Intel dual core i3 2.1ghz.

Intel HD 3000 graphics card.

4GB RAM

Negatives:

- Recent decline in the online communnity.

- Can be a bit to difficult in places.

- Online players usually repeat the same attack over and over to win.

A good looking street fighter for pc that have all the finesse of it´s earlier 2D siblings. Graphics is great and that without being to demanding on your system. Online play is great, and there´s still loads of people plaing it. BUT if you dont have a controller skip it, doesnt work good with keyboard.

The controls can be pretty bad with the Keyboard, so invest in a gamepad or a stick. If you do this, you will have a whale of a time. The fighters can be easy to learn but tough to master, online can be tense, the characters, level and sound design are just great. Definitely recommend it!

This is a very-well remade classic. Must be played on a gamepad to experience all the fun of the game.

You must log in Games for windows live (GFWL) to play this game, even in single player, which may be annoying to some people. I used to have difficulties playing games with GFWL because of bugs in loading GFWL. It have been solved since then but took a while figuring this out with GFWL support.

The game looks awesome on NVDIA 3D vision. It adds much depth to the game. Anyone that has 3D vision should take a look at this game.

Pro's works great on my PC. All the characters you love to play. Graphics are second to none sound is great. It's a must have for all street fighter fans. The only drawback is playing on a keyboard. Many special moves are dificult if not almost impossible to do with a keyboard. If you buy this game you will need to invest in a gamepad or joystick that will alow you to play this game to its full potential.

SF IV is a great reboot for the franchise, coming out 8 years after SF III, but drawing most of gameplay from SFII. Featuring well known characters and 5 new faces, it has an easy to learn but hard to master gameplay, with balanced characters and fluid animations. Online play is backed by GFWL, which is a bit of a hassle but do the job on this one, with lag only caused by common Internet problems (e.g. distance) and not buggy code. There are several modes which will take some time to beat (for non-experienced players), plus achievements. The only drawbacks, for long time fans at least, are the absence of characters stage and music. The latter appears in rival fights and menus though. Also, it must be noted that a joystick is recommended, but it doesn't detract from the game as I expect every PC gamer to have at least one good joystick.

I've played Street Fighter 2 when I was just a little boy, and then I've never liked any other game in the series. This one feels like returning to the roots of SF2. The animation is very fluid, the graphics are just perfect as well. Any long time fan of the street fighet series should get this game!
