One of my all time favorite games Sega Genesis games. Nice upgrade over the original shinning force. Enemies don't just stay stationary like in the original, they will move after you. Items also will automatically get passed to a character with a free slot, so you don't have to manually move items. You also can pick up special items that allow characters to upgrade to different and more powerful classes when you promote them. The level ups aren't as random as Shining Force 1, your characters typically don't gain more than 1 or 2 points in each attribute.

If you enjoy strategical, turn based RPG's you should like this game.

This is a great game which will be enjoyed by fans of turn based rpgs, especially those similar to the fire emblem series.

Excellent Game, I played the hell out of this one on the Sega Mega Drive. Later on I even got an emulator just to play this through one more time and now I bought it here. The whole Pack is good, but this, the first Shining Force and Landstalker are real gems!
