Not sure why, but i really loved this game! Its graphics are average and there is nothing really that special in the actual idea of the game, however it has a really good "feel" to it. It is really easy to get into and play, the events in the game are very accurate and to the point, the strategy is very fast moving and you do not need to ponder around like lets say Hearts of Iron 3.

I would say this is a classic game worth looking into. Maybe it is better to buy their newer version though, it just came out this month

Hands down probably one of the best WW2 games I've ever played. It's got a bit of a learning curve since it's based on supplies chains and before you know how to play it can be a bit frustrating. I love playing the Axis as the underdog and this game really presents the Axis well by not making them overpowering and giving you a great challenge.

I suppose my only negative comment is that because I downloaded the game through Gamersgate I was therefore not able to buy the expansion as it's only compatible with the normal version of the game and GG has tweaked it somewhat.

Other than this truly great game if you want to get sucked into WW2. It will occupy your mind for months and to play out a whole war could take 20hrs. or more of gameplay.
