At five dollars (current price) it is well worth picking up! I am not sure about at full price, but that is up to how you play. To me, I never wanted to pick this expansion pack up at full price: it seemed like the same thing as "night life." At the current price, it is hard to pass up. Any expansion pack is worth 5 dollars! They add much more than the "stuff" packs (which I can never really bring myself to personally buy), and this one adds some new careers, genies, etc.

As another reviewer said: If you like night life pick this one up when you can!

This is a great deal! If you don't already have the original Sims 3 then either Sims 3 with showtime or pets you get more for your money. Its cheaper than buying them both seperate. About the showtime expansion, I didn't think I would enjoy it, it came out after Pets and Pets is the one I always spend the most time with and love the most. I was impressed, I was starting to get bored with the Sims 3 and this just adds another path you can take with your sims. It makes it seem like possibilities are more endless every time they add a new expansion pack. I bought the Sims 3 with Showtime because I lost my original sims 3 disc and wanted to get Showtime anyways, I couldn't turn down this deal. I look forward to seeing what they think of next with the Sims 3. Wish though that EA would work more on patches and problems with their current games, I have 3 powerful computers and laptops but on each of them after about 20 minutes of playing the sims 3 crashes. I have the latest update so hopefully its just something EA needs to work out. Enjoy!!

As with all Sims 3 expansions the worth of the content is subjective to your play style. The content provided in this expansion is worth it's price tag as it includes not only a new city, furniture, clothing and venues but jobs as well.

Unlike Stuff Packs that are half the price of this expansion you're getting far more than double the content.

If you enjoy having a night life for your sims, this will only expand further upon that same content.
