Rift is a great game, and the expansion and patches that came along made it so much better, i prefer it to other mmos, although the community isnt as BIG as WoW the community is certainty nicer, and not as "elitest" you wont necessarily get called "noob" and left out of things because you play whats fun not whats overpowered

Well after leaving Rift around 3 months after launch i came back to it to see how much it changed since then.

To my surprise the game had a whole new shape in the good meaning, Active and working LFG systems, Wardobe system which allows you to play with the looks of all armor sets to make your own, Houses and much more, I decided to give a try and get SL to complete that, and i dont regret that every bit, The expansion brings so much to the game and the new souls are really fun and the synergy is great.

I would recomend this expansion to anyone who wants to go back or try rift!

Storm Legion adds so much to the already great RIFT set game. The expansion takes place in a two brand new continents (massive, mind you) and will take hours and hours and hours and hours of your time. Admittedly, the leveling process is decently slow, taking lots of time to hit the new max level of 60, but you can consider it a way to relearn your character as nearly all of the souls have had an overhaul to make them more of what the developers had in mind.

There is so much to do at max level (and even before hitting it), that it is mind boggling. I was never sitting in the main city for long. Whether it was finishing my rep or crafting dailies, doing expert dungeons, raid rifts, new hunt rifts, gathering, or just exploring the world you'll never be in for a dull time. Even if you do not plan to hardcore raid or PvP the large variety of stuff to do in the world more than makes up for it.

The first expansion for Rift just grabs what you've learned on the classic and makes it 1000 times better. From the huge continents making old Telara feeling really small, to the more dynamic feeling of how you level your character (they do try to walk away from the old system of get to quest hub, grab all quests, do them, deliver and get more, rinse and repeat), to the large amount of options you can do on the game, I'd say this expansion is a sure winner.

If you enjoyed the original Rift and still haven't got this one, I'm sure you will enjoy this one as much as before.

For returning fans of the MMO genre, Storm Legion is an enjoyable adventure through challenging content. For new players or players sick with the old MMO questing styles and gear progression, Storm Legion is not for you.
