In 2010, the time machine was finally invented in Russia. The FSB decided
to try to reduce casualties and created a list of the events of the WWII that
led to the biggest human losses. There is only one heavily armed modern helicopter
to be sent to the past to perform the necessary “corrections”.

Red Shark review

By Minishodin posted 16th Nov 2011

Red Shark is interesting to me as it isn't a bad game it just isn't good. You basically just fly around and shoot missiles at targets with in an amount of time and win. The controls aren't bad nor are the graphics (a small step above PSX era IMHO.) As for the price $10 is not really worth it unless you really, really want to fly a helicopter for some reason. I got the game on sale for less than buck so for that price it's very worth it. As for Windows 7 is works fine but has an odd habit of jump to my second monitor. All and all if you're looking for a decent helicopter this might fill the void until you find better. Final thought, wait for a sub-buck sale.

The game so bad I couldn't give it away

Okay, you may be thinking to yourself, "Oh, cool a 27-cent game about a time-travelling helicopter." Well, let me tell you something, this game is not cool. I wound up purchasing two copies of this game, figuring I'd give one away to a friend. No one wanted it. In fact, some of them aren't my friend anymore. Let me reiterate, not only did I pay money for this game, (Well, Blue Coins), but no one would take it from me FOR FREE. Why? The game is notoriously ugly, and has pretty awful controls. And beyond that, beyond ALL THAT, it's still just a generic helicopter shooter. The moral of this story? This game is kinda like an old shoe: If someone offers it to you, even for free, you should take it just so you don't hurt their feelings.

Red Shark harks back to the days of the early nineties, when action games were plenty and shooters even more so. In 2011 this game looks and feels old, but it still manages to bring a reasonable amount of fun and satisfactory destruction to the table. The controls are simple, but lack some accuracy which leaves the player wishing for more finesse, especially when the action gets more heated. Still, even though Red Shark may pass only as a temporary distraction for the more serious shoot'em up aficionados, it provides some bang for the cents invested in it by those of us who take gaming less seriously.

I liked this one better than most people did. It has a very old-school feel to it. The controls are a bit sloppy and the missions are rather same-y, but in the end I got several hours of mediocre enjoyment out of it for a very good sale price. If you see it on sale and are a fan of old NES/SNES chopper games I'd say pick it up!

After you set your controls up for WASD/Mouse this game becomes pretty fun. It's back to the oldschool days flat textures and epic low res explosions. You die if you hit anything, or try to land, so stay in the air and fight it out! Pick it up, it's great for the price

now, i found 15 missions on this game. if i clear all missions, i may found new missions.

but, it will not come like that time. 4 hours and 6 missions, i played.

so, i want to say ...

you should not spend to play this game for your important times.

there is many games cheap but fun games. this game is CHEAP and BORE game.

no unlock weapons, only a few kind of enemies, and we must drive long distance with bore times.

you should not play this game, if you could buy it as super low price.

This game is simple flying shooter. Nothing special you could expect from it. Not easy to handle due to double control over flying and shooting. The graphics is 8 years ago and it does not support large screen resolution. If you want to play a shooter, I do suggest that you should pick others.

The time travel concept isn't done in a fashionable way like the red alert games. The only way to know that this takes place in WW2 is through the briefings. Graphics are bland and the gameplay is boring. Missions are repetitive and you have no customization options. Not really worth your time even at the price.

one of the worst games i've ever played i can't believe it is made by the same company that gave us jagged alliance. graphics are at least ten years old, controls are sloppy, scenario is the mother of all clichés. it's only 27 cents but don't be fooled it's not worth it.
