Experience the dramatic intensity of the frontlines of a war through the eyes of the first of a new breed of super soldiers in this gritty and epic first-person action game.

An augmented super-soldier must stop a renegade regime from eradicating the civilized world.

Hong Kong, 2065. 2nd Lt. Nathan Frost is just a regular grunt in an international army called the Liberty Coalition. When he takes massive injuries from an explosion on the battlefield, Frost undergoes an experimental procedure. The outcome of the surgery is something more than human; a transformation that makes him a unique weapons-grade warrior, with abilities that far surpass those of the average soldier.

Empowered with these extra-normal abilities via implanted augmentations, Frost is immediately sent to the frontlines of a war as a secret weapon against the destructive regime. Stranded in hostile territory, cut off from command and far outnumbered, Frost and a handful of men must try and stop the entire renegade militia’s plan threatening to plunge the world into darkness.

Project: Snowblind review

By googoogjoob posted 22nd August 2012

Project Snowblind is a dopey, easy gadget shooter that is the result of the original Deus Ex 3 project, retooled to be unrelated to Deus Ex. If you play it while ignoring the Deus Ex connections, it's a solid if unexceptional budget FPS, and this is why I gave it 4 stars. If you go in expecting a Deus Ex game, though, you will be terribly disappointed by the dumbed-down level design, weapons, augmentations, and especially the writing and plot. So: it's best to play this game for what it is (a straight FPS), while keeping in mind what it might have been (Deus Ex 3).

Almost a Deus Ex game. Almost.

Rumour has it that Project: Snowblind was originally meant to have Deus Ex prefix, but after Invisible War's rather critical reaction, name and storyline were altered somewhat. It also plays rather differently from other Deus Ex games. While there are still augmentations, characted development is more linear and there is much less focus on stealth, making it more akin to Halo than Deus Ex. That's not a bad thing, though, because all in all Snowblind is an enjoyable futuristic FPS with good pacing. I'd recommend giving it a go.

Project: Snowblind is a good futuristic FPS. It has an interesting gameplay. Project: Snowblind is a fast shooter; during the gunfights, the game becomes fairly rapid. There is a good feeling with the game controls. Overall, the gameplay is quality, worth of a very good FPS. The graphic is good, with some good effects. The audio isn't fantastic: during the shooters, sometimes it feels that the shots are a bit muffled. The dialogues are good.

Overall, Project: Snowblind is a good FPS, with an original gameplay. It deserves to be played.
