I'm not a prototype cycling fan, I'm just that guy who likes to watch 'the tour de france' when I have my holiday in summer. That's when I got into this game.

Pro:

- Career mode is extensive

- Ability to create your own team in career mode

- Easy to learn (compared with e.g. Football Manager)

- Ability to control all the riders in your team

- Real-life events like 'Tour de France',...

Cons:

- You need a lot of time investment (in order to advance through your career)

- Only partly licensed (I my opinion a game should be fully licensed or not licensed at all)

- Multiplayer and track cycling part seem redundant

Probably this game is only suitable for people who like 'pro cycling'.

All in all a very decent game and with the addition of databases (which adds a lot of riders and teams plus adjusts the non-licensed teams) this game is worth a 4 out of 5.

Pro Cycling Manager 2011 is the latest in the cycling series and is considered the best among the series but it does have some big issues. The music is the game is pretty bad, (similar to 90's PC midi music) and it can be annoying and sometimes I just want to turn it off. The career game is interesting because there is a lot of options to choose from and you can basically play the game forever which is great. The problem is the the menu's are pretty ugly and just plain boring too look at that it can be hard to get into the game. Another big flaw with the game is that there is no tutorial so if you don't know much about professional cycling (like me) then you are kind of screwed in the beginning. Still the game is interesting and the graphics in the race are great and since there is not much competition out there for this type of game I would recommend it if you like simulation games.

Pro Cycling manager is a game with a horrible, HORRIBLE soundtrack! I have never experienced a more worse soundtrack. Now that all the bad is out of the box, we can go over to the awesome stuff. You can play the cycling races with have nearly complete control of your riders. It is really easy to start playing. I would recommend that you start out by reading the manual since the turtorial is non existing. But it doesn't really matter. I was a self taught team boss. You don't have to worry a lot about economics, but a lot about, how your team is trained, by who and to what races. You can specific how you want to train your team in very much detail. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. It ain't much a difference from the last game I hear. But then again I haven't played any of the other games. So this was my first introduction to the pro cycling series. And it was a pleasant meeting.
