There may be a Lovecraftian storyline somewhere in this game, but its hidden behind illogical rooms filled with nonsensical puzzles and exploding barrels...stuff which may be fine in a run of the mill shooter, but should not be in a game that so blatantly purports to draw influence from H.P. Lovecraft. I would suggest Penumbra or The Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth instead (which itself has moments of frustration, but seems like a pleasant experience by contrast to Project Anderson).
