Very cool game, only flaw i see is that its tormented by very immature stuff at times /most common enemy is an robot trying to have sex with fruits, and pees on you\

But the humor, when it stays away from sex and pee jokes its brilliant! And the gameplay is very solid :) having a blast iwth this one

This title is shorter than game name :P

Despite having a truly monumental title, this is a lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek comic RPG, based on all times favourite, the Penny Arcade. Visuals are standard Japanese-style RPG-like stuff, plus some nice comic interludes, cunnigly woven into the story. Storyline is fun and engaging, and true to the spirit of Penny Arcade.

Combat would also be standard Japanese RPG issue, were it not for minigames for some special moves. They add to the thrill of the battle and seem to work very well. Enemies have some very... interesting... moves.

Overall, the game is a great fun!

This game is one of the "unknow epic games"

RPG and Point and click, both of my favorite game style in one, how could it go wrong !

The graphics are good, the dialogs and voice acting are great (even thought sometimes I had trouble understanding(Full english for a non native speaker ^^)

The story line is fun but there are 2 things that bother me

The point and click aspect is great and the RPG is cool too, but well It's weird to go from one to another, even if we get use to it.

The other major flaw is that the third game is canceled, People play the two episodes and were waiting for more but we ended up with a great but unfinished game, It's like Harry potter stopped at the 5th book, it's just frustrating.

a very well done turn based rpg looks great and has plenty of humor for rpg fans the turn based battle system works very well with the pc version and it can only get better in the second episode the voice actin is very well done in the game i like the narrators voice the most kinda puts a dark a mysterious feel to the game the only thing i dont like is near the end of the game when grinding starts i wont spoil anything there make sure you have a decent computer to run this or that part will make you mad :P

PAA1 is a decent, but rather short, RPG from the creators of Penny Arcade. It is fairly well written and humorous, which is the main attraction for playing it. The actual gameplay is that of a simple JRPG, like the early Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior games. It is a bit overpriced for a brief episodic game whose third episode was canceled, which leaves the story unfinished. If you like the humor of Penny Arcade and the gameplay of older JRPGs it is worth picking up on sale.
