With the latest patch this game runs stable and is extremely fun. Working on the field is like in real, very well done. However you need a good PC though, but you can adjust alot of graphic settings to make it run smoothly. I played it +80 hours so far!

This is simply put, an amazingly relaxing simulation! You have to actually work hard to make your farm pay. You have to tend to your livestock, you have to think and plan. It is a great game and highly recommended. My children even like this simulation and they learn a lot from it, like, making every penny count, Multi-tasking, and most of all having fun whilst doing it.

I give this 5 Stars because it does not give you the option to give more!

Agricultural Simulator - Historical Farming tries its hardest to make farming as unintuitive as possible, as the game features no tutorial and the HTML manual is in German. Part of the difficulty for newcomers can be attributed to the interface, which uses icons to display where nearby things can be found or placed, but never explains what the icons actually mean. Now, I can figure out what an egg stands for, but what about a triangle? Your first exposure to the game is also spent learning the layout of the farms and which doors open and which ones do not. There is no mini map and no building labels, so finding your way around can be difficult. The game and manual really fail to explain where things are supposed to go, and trail and error is spent figuring out where to place empty milk jugs, breeding cattle, seeds, hay bails, tractor attachments, and every other aspect of farm living. The game provides several camera views, but I would like to use the mouse to change my perspective in more than just the first person tractor view. The “tab” key pulls up a menu for advanced actions (like lowering plows) and the “control” key gives stats describing the current time and stockpile of goods and their locations (if you can figure out which buildings are which, of course). A lot more time could have been dedicated towards making Agricultural Simulator - Historical Farming accessible.

Total garbage, even patched still is unplayable. This game never should of been released, fully of bugs with the almost ever aspect of the game. The hydraulicsare totally screwed , tractors stop working after a couples hrs and pass thru the terrain, multiplayer still doesnt work. Total rip off its obvious the company was only after revenue and could care less if the game was playable.

This game was rushed to market WAY before it was ready. I like the concept, that's why I bought it. If you have this, save game often because it's so full of bugs you'll need to reload a lot.

This is a rather unique simulator and a lot of work has gone into the development I'm sure however it is way overpriced for the value received It's extremely buggy with after playing around with it for a couple of hours I stopped counting the defective issues or bugs at fifteen and it became painfully apparent to me that this should have been offered as a beta version for testing only some of the more extreme issues include tractor and attachments being thrown twenty feet into the air if parked too close to an auto opening door. The fix should be the door won't open if parked too close. Tractor getting stuck high center going through the milking barn. Fix should be smoothing the transition from barn floor to ground level. White lines running through the stream by the sawmill. Sawmill won't buy more than 3 logs at a time. Sell prices for logs and milk and eggs way too low takes too long to get enough money to buy equipment. Link box too small to be efficient will only carry 4 milk cans or two milk cans and a case of eggs or one bag of seed or one bale of hay. You shouldn't be able to enter the body of the sales girls at the farmers market but you can as there was no collision coded for these Ghost-Riders. I paid 30 dollars us for this sim and every time I play it I find at least three or four new bugs, I can't believe it was even released for sale as a functional game. The only reason I rated it two stars is because the graphics overall are quite good with a few noted exceptions. Gameplay however would not even rate one star from my point of view. Hopefully the developers will stop smoking crack long enough to fix the couple of dozen issues that if the files were not encrypted the gaming community would fix for them.

I have all of UIG's farming simulators. And they all had bugs in the beginning, combines flying around, tractors disappearing, never a dull moment. But this company have always come across with updates/patches to make it right.A week after i got this, there was an update waiting, now the game has settled down,no more flying around.A few more bugs to iron out,but it is now playable, where we can actually get some work done.I have no regrets for buying this, for i know they will get it running as smooth as the others do now, meanwhile,it is still allot of fun driving those vintage machines.I am rather spoiled by a modern 50ft.furrow and a 300hp tractors, but this game takes a person back in time when money was not as easy to come by,this game is a great challenge. So when you buy this, there will be an update right after it installs,at least that is what happened to me.

Great Game

If you want to buy one of the most realistic Simulator titles over the past few years you have to buy the Agrar Simulator Historical Farming. There are many features included and the game surprises you with new possibilities every few minutes. Step by step you can learn being a farmer in the good old times. My grandfather had such an old tractor in the past and it is fun to show such a tractor to my kids as well. Nostalgic I know but it is just a great game to me. Give it a try, I am sure you will love it as well as I do.

Nice graphics good concept but sadly very poor game mechanics, logs fall from the sky and sacks of seed fly off when trying to load the seeder.

Plowing only makes ruts that your tractor has problems with wheels spinning, animals get stuck walking through the ruts.

Honestly I feel like I just got ripped for $20 I will never trust another game from this developer.

To be very honest, I do not know why the game was released yet. There are so many bugs that its unplayable.

But the game it self are pretty, you have your little farm with some old machines. But that is all you know since there are no manual and no guide.. Next i figure that you need to press som small icons to on the back of your tractor to attach the machines and hold caps lock to get another menu where you can raise and lower the arms of the tractor.. But at that time I was already frustrated and angry.. My plow flew into the air and I landed and next it lay down on the side and finaly I had to buy a new plow that I managed to attach. Well I desided to plow a field but I could not find any fields anywhere so I just started plowing the field that look like a field. THe plowing did look nice that you could see the ground shift fysics bus once you polow 1 line and want to do the next then it become very clear that that part do not work properbly. It no longer look nice and also most and some of your work dissapear without a reason.. I also tried to purchase a harvester for fun, but It did never show up. Actually I do not even understand the economics of the game. There are not even a mini map in the game or any hints about anything..

Next I went for a drive to see the country side.. First I cross a bridge with low speed and my tractor jumped into the sky.... next i drive fast down a hill and then my tractor turned on the head and it was not possible to turn it. So i left the tractor and was angry and left the game.

The game camera just like in the other agricultural games make me sea sick!!

Said with other words the game look good but after about 20-30 minutes of play I will trow it in the trash its simply that annoying and terrible. The game should simply not have been published and sold to anyone yet.!!

The game developers should really be ashamed of them self for realeasing yet another agricultural game that clearly where not even tested before release !!!

The only "intersting" thing was the new things where you manual attach the machines. And that that you machines now change the ground so it look like your plow actually do something to the ground.
