The goal of Obulis is to drop all of the colored spheres into their like-colored pots. Spheres are connected to the playfield using chains and ropes and the player must cut these constraints to put the spheres and the level in motion by the forces of gravity and physical interaction. For this price its a really good Puzzle game. I like how it looks like and if you have to wait for something it is a good to spent the time on this game. The puzzles are for the most part simple but its still a clever idea.

I would recommend it for those who hasnt already such a minigame and who likes to solve not that hard puzzles but still having fun with it.

If you're the type of person that chats on the phone while sitting at your computer desk and like the old-fashioned doodlers, you like to keep your hands busy in the background of long conversations Obulis is very similar puzzle title like Zen Bound 2 that requires more fiddling around than focus.

For the most part puzzles are physiques oriented and involve landing a designated ball in cup by cutting it lose from a swinging rope and anticipating how its momentum will chain react with other objects and balls on screen.

There isn't a whole more to say about this game but it is a pleasant distraction and worth the effort to try.

I give this one star short of five because, like Zen Bound 2 it is entertaining but you really can't go very far with it.

A puzzler’s delight. For the past several days I have been playing a very intriguing puzzle game called Obulis. Even though it was released for PC’s in 2009 I had not seen it. I think it would make a good addition to the Big Fish catalog of games.

If you like physics type puzzle games like Dale Hardshovel, Magnetic Adventure, Vizati and Professor Fizzwizzle you might enjoy Obulis. It has 151 puzzles ranging from easy to very difficult. The background scenes for the puzzles are varied and well done. The music is very soothing and is just what you need when you are on your 16th try at beating a puzzle.

This is not a game for everyone. You have to truly be a puzzle geek like me as it takes lots of trial and error to solve some of the puzzles that are in the Master difficulty levels. In the game demo, most of the easier puzzles have an option to see a solution to the puzzle. I think this is just a way of giving you a tutorial. None of the more difficult puzzles have that option. There are no hints and no skips. If you get really stuck there are solutions on youtube that were posted in 2009.

I was totally captivated (and sometimes frustrated) by this game. I could not wait to get home from work and start playing. I finished it last night and now I am tempted to set up a new profile and start all over again. I enjoyed it very much!

I've had a great time completing this puzzler and highly recommend it to anyone enjoying mind-benders. Graphics are good and the soudtrack is really nice. Gameplay is easy to learn and although most levels are not too hard, some will defenitly leave you scratching your head. A really good casual game for the low price and again a must for physic based puzzle fan.

Obulis is a simple but entertaining physics puzzler, the goal of which is to drop colored marbles into colored pots using the terrain, simple devices, and other marbles. The puzzles are clever, but usually not too difficult or elaborate - though there are some devious ones. It's a lot of fun to see everything in motion as your marbles bounce and clink around the playfield, and the music is very soothing. The game can get a bit frustrating because of the precise timing required when you cut the chains; to some extent, dealing with velocity and momentum is part of the point, but you'll occasionally have to repeat a puzzle several times to get the timing down. Overall, Obulis is fun and relaxing without being excessively simplistic, but gamers who struggle with twitch timing may want to try the demo before purchasing.

Obulis is an interesting physics puzzle game. The point of every level is to get the colored marbles into their respective pots. Doesn't sound too difficult until you're bouncing marbles off other marbles midair to get one flying in just the right direction. It's a really good brain bender if you're up for some good honest physics puzzles. It's also pretty cheap at $8, so I'd say give it a shot.
