This game is amazing. It's basically a stripped-down racing game with Soviet trappings for no particular reason. You play a series of basic races with predetermined cars and nothing really exceptional goes on.

What makes this game amazing is its tone. Starting with the title: "Need For Russia" is totally nonsensical and is obviously the result of a non-native English speaker's play on "Need For Speed". The subtitle is "GREATSET (sic) CARS FROM CCCP" which basically sums up the game. You can race a Yugo-analogue against a military ambulance through a Hollywood ripoff for no reason.

I dunno what else to say. This game was fun mostly because it was amusingly misguided: The USSR was never known for having outstanding cars, but the devs simply don't seem to realize this.

This is a very simple car racing game with no bells and whistles. However, it is quite fun and addicting! It is a simple car racing game that you can quickly load up and race a few laps any time you want! It is also good if you have a substandard computer, and want the thrill of racing to be at your finger tips. I give it four stars, because it works for what it is. Five stars was too many, because I felt that some of the physics were outdated. Over all, a must for anyone who wants an addicting racing game they can load up quickly, and play. Professional drivers may not like this game.
