A nice DLC, full of new content, and a new story line to keep playing this awesome game even after finishing the adventure mode ^^

I didn't see this coming. Lovecraftian in my Magicka. Also, really nice change of pace with some atmosphere and puzzles, but still all the same silliness. Worth it for fans of Magicka and Lovecraft.

In this expansion of magicka, one has to face against new monsters and followers of cthulu, cthulu himself for a new unlockable character for every player modes, I recommend it.

Easily the best Magicka DLC. It is the first "real" content pack. Yes, there have been dressed up challenges before but this is closer to what I'd expect from an expansions. New campaign with a new story, some extra doodads, etc. It also riffs on some famous works like those of HP Lovecraft, one of my favorite authors, which is a lot of fun. Get this before you get most of the other DLC!

Magicka has got a lot of DLc's, but this one is one of the best.

This is the expansion/DLC that Magicka fans have been waiting for. The Lovecraft-inspired world is a plus too.

If you're going to get a DLC for Magicka, this is the one (especially if you like Lovecraft). This DLC gives you more campaign, though it's a bit more difficult than the original. You should probably beat the base game before buying this.

Really awesome Lovecraft inspired DLC, Magicka's constantly impressive DLC output continues with this DLC. Awesome expansion pack, the moment you thought you finished the original Magicka will be washed away with the purchase of this expansion.

What else do you need?

Most Magicka worthy purchase DLC. It's include three full chapters , new bosses, and some cutscenes. All you need to do is depart with your friends.

Be warned! This DLC is not for the faint-hearted. You don't get to use any of the magicks that you have learned previously and there are a host of new, deadlier enemies to contend with.

In the main game your character is brutally overpowered with an enormous range of high powered magicks at your disposal. The roles are reversed for the DLC, many enemies have powerful attacks that can 1-hit you and they never seem to come alone. You're expected to do all this while solving some rather involved puzzles and balancing on invisible platforms. This mode is perfect for anyone who finds the main game rather easy, the developers sure wiped the cocky smile off my face with this one.

Finally, the campaign expanding expansion we have all been waiting for! If you liked Magicka at all then you should definitely pick this one up. Shying away from the copious amounts of outfit and challenge DLC they have been offering since launch, The Stars Are Left is a very welcome breath of fresh air into this game.

A great DLC for any Magicka and Lovecraftian theme fan. It has interesting and exciting new boss fights and of course, new items and robes.

Fairly enjoyable to play but I fear that it has nothing really new now. Sure there's new enemies and a story but it's really not enough I think the DLC has gone to far now. Magicka was great but I feel the developers are kind of beating a dead horse now.

If you are still loving Magicka it's a must have but if like me you have loved and forgotten it a bit there's nothing new to come back for.

If You liked Magicka, The Stars Are Left is for You. In short: more enemies, more locations and more fun of course. But... First what I discovered it is high level of difficulty - I met pack of orcs and two trolls. I weas trying to pass this area by a few days. Next areas are also hard to survive so I think it is more for hardcore Magicka fans than for casual gamers. Of course there is still this kind of humour we love and You may expect new items but of course I will not tell :)

Conclusion - for all fans of Magicka's world who want to use spells and fight. This DLC is worth of money!

For starters, the campaign is quite short, but also quite difficult. It's by far better to play this one with a couple of friends. There seem to be some game fixes too, but it's still quite buggy and will crash sometimes. Besides that... I mean, it's just more Magicka, so if you are a fan of the game you'll certainly want to pick this one up, otherwise leave it and play the main game first. You can always buy this at a later time if you feel like it.

The expansion is pretty much the same as the first game except even more awesome. There are a couple of new spells (now with more fireworks!) and weapons that are even crazier than before. There were a few gamebreaking bugs which had me and my friends killing each other to load checkpoints but overall it was very polished for being Magicka. The expansion was a clear winner in our eyes!
