I have played the game for several hours, of course crashing quite a few spacecrafts. After that I decided to watch the online tutorials the developer posted on the official site. The gameplay is a little bit difficult. I'm not a big fan of simulators, however this game is awesome. Maybe, it's a little bit too hard for me, but I'm enjoying it actually. It's a real-time simulation of moon flight. I think anyone (even those with experience in flight simulators) will need a few hours before succesfully finishing a mission. Turning off fuel consumption will ease the game, thus helping newbies learn how to fly with the spacecraft. Achievements are also interesting in the game, you even get one for crashing the spacecraft :). I wish there would be more spacecraft models to fly with... not sure if game is moddable, or if anyone is working on mods.

Nice space simulator although I never could get the hang of landing. Lunar does have several video tutorials on the Lunar web site but presentation is vag. He explains some features but doesn't really show you how to use them. For the price and the immersion factor I give this 3 stars. I think we need more original games that are not updated versions of old games.

This game is great! It has a medium or so learning curb, but the online video tutorials explain everything in detail! The gameplay is very fun even while learning. Plus the game offers a random mission generator so you will never run out of things to do! I love this game! If there is anything I don't like is that if you fly out of bounds or beyond the perimeter, you instantly explode. However, that only happened before I watched the online instruction videos. This is a great game!

If you enjoy flight simulators or are interested in the challenge of maneuvering in the vacuum of space theres a good chance you'll love this game. There was a bit of trial and error at first to to conquer the lunar lander but after some practice I've really enjoyed learning to master the physics of getting from A to B in a reasonably elegant and efficient fashion. The graphics look great with 3D out the window and external views and really bring the experience of traversing over the moons surface to life.

This is a game for old Lunar-fans. They have brought back to life but our opinion is that you expect more from games these days. It´s not the grapics but they gameplay is slow and it´s not very much action. But if you like flight simulators and games that triggers your perfection you might want to try this old classic
