Its "meh" for me. The game is really short and has a abrupt ending. The storyline and gameplay isn't that great but it isn't bad either. The game also does not work on Steam while you are online.

This game looks good. A shake-cam really improves the tension of the action. It is a unique style. The shooting is solid, a major improvement over the previous game. The graphics is good.

I give three stars because the story is quite short but intense

It's just the fair shooting game. Good gunplay ,unique virtual style ,fun multi-player game mode. But has a very short Single player's campaign and you might be hate the reality cam.

Almost literally revolting.

Even if you can stomach the atrocious content of this game, the utterly unlikeable characters and nauseating violence - the shacking, flickering "reality cam" will do its best to help you empty your stomach's contents.

This is the gaming equivalent of Syrup of ipecac, just slightly less pleasant ...

While it wasn't very well recieved by the media at the time of release, this is a game that shouldn't be overlooked.

It offers a good 7-8 hours of very fun third-person shooter gameplay, while being presented in a very innovative way, as being filmed by a bad digital camera, with compression artifacts and other nice visual effects.

It makes this game a relatively unique experience!

I played the first one and thought that it was decent, but there were some things that bothered me. Luckily, the second installment was much better. The game got a pretty nice graphical and physical overhaul, and the weapons and overall gameplay did not feel clunky the way the first one did. I also enjoyed playing Fierce Alliance, given that I love heists (bank heist level from the first game was awesome). Overall, the only major drawback was its length. I felt that the story mode was a bit short, and I was hoping that we would see what happened after they left Shanghai, buuuuuuuuut, I guess I'll have to wait a while to see what morally corrupt mischief they get into next. Overall, I thought it was a good game.

Definitely better than the first, in story and technical terms, KL 2 tries to change the formula from the previous games and I like it. I like the camera and editing of the game, as if an invisible person is recording our anti heroes with a digicam in their journey. The shooting is pretty solid, as is the performance (i3/560 ti setup) running a smooth 60fps 95% of the time. The story, though not an Academy Award script, was interesting enough to keep me playing. I really like the voice acting in this game, actors gave a lot more character and depth to the game especially compared to the first. If they didn't sound the same, I would have thought they hired different guys this time around. I didn't get a chance to try the multiplayer as their no one on it, but I can see the arcade mode being fun with friends. Overall, a fun game with a nice story, perfect weekend with a friend or rainy day material.

P.S. - A.I. isn't a joke. Even on normal they will play you here and there.

Twice I've been dissuaded from buying this game by the mediocre reviews. Glad I finally ignored them all and picked up this gem!

Gritty, atmospheric, frantic! Neither of our protagonists Kane and Lynch have much in the way of redeemable qualities, but I HAVE TO KNOW how their story plays out. Don't let the few game flaws mar your fun.

Just cover, shoot, sprint madly and repeat!

The story was awesome. The gameplay was pretty good. The game started react because the game didnt give more itself. I recommend the game because of the great story and graphics werent bad at all.

A nice game whit a story. I´m not to far in the game yet and i didn´t play the first title. It´s mostly running and gunning. Plenty of ammo and different enemy´s who drop different weapons. The cutscenes and parts between the fighting keep the game fun, becouse the shooting is pretty much the same from what i´ve yet experienced.

Kane & Lynch 2 is solid 3rd personshooter with two remarkable protagonists...filthy, bad and insane. but in the second game the charakters are not as intensive as i remember them. the game focus more on gameplay and the unique camera style. the story ins't a hit but keeps entertaining......more because of those two guy's. i think it lacks on good ideas, it has a lot of potential, but can't make the step to a must have game for everyone.

Very neat visual style, but kind of repetitive and extremely short.

The co-op is fun, though, if you have a friend to play through it with, which, given how short it is, is not that huge of a time commitment.

Definitely worth getting when cheap.

I purchased this game on sale to play with a friend that owned it. We had a great time playing the campaign co-op. The visual style and atmosphere is quite unique which helps to set it apart from other shooters. The gameplay itself is fairly typical of any 3rd person shooter and the controls fairly standard. The sound and voice acting add to the atmosphere and help bring you into the game. However, the storyline is fairly simple and the game is short which leaves you wishing it had more. The replay value of the game in my opinion is low, due to the short campaign and the lack of a multiplayer community. If you're looking for a fun shooter to play through in a couple of evenings with a friend definitely keep this one on your radar.
