The Inlaws review

The game is VERY choppy and buggy (I have Windows Vista and a medium performance Dell). The sounds and voices don't work half the time, either silent or cut offs. Graphics are ok but because of the chopiness its hard to navigate on a keyboard. Difficulties in starting the game and crashes during gameplay. ALso my whole computer slowed down after playing it. LOTS OF PATIENCE needed.

If the game worked properly I would have probably enjoyed it very much. The story line is light and funny with caricatural characters reminescent of the Simpsons. Its very annoying not to be able to play it smoothly, its a fun little game.

This is an interesting sort of puzzle adventure game. The graphics are pretty slick and not something you see all the time which is the main appeal. The humor and plot aren't too bad either.

My main grief with this title comes from it's length and a few bugs in the game. The game is easily completed in 30 minutes to an hour and gives almost no re playability. I also encountered several bugs in the game one of which halted my progress until I closed and restarted the game (a character had disappeared). Also it crashed 2 or 3 times.

Given the length and bugs I'm really not sure I could recommend this game unless it's on sale. It's a good idea and nice presentation, it just needs a bit of polish.
