The campaign of this game albeit quite short is an amazing action filled campaign, You are almost always in situations where you are outnumbered and having to use the various methods of cover to gain the upper hand. There are some very cool effects in some of the campaign missions and the use of goliath is very fun. The multiplayer however is quite hard as most players are very skilled or sit and spawn camp the whole game which becomes very frustrating and makes the multiplayer experience almost impossible for someone who is not so good at PC FPS like myself, however you eventually learn how to combat these spawn campers (leave immediately) all in all a really good game, could do with a longer campaign and a better multiplayer spawn system but every game has its negatives. highly recommend

The single player campaign is too short but overall the story was good. The game is definitely worth it at this discounted price. Although the graphics aren't the best in the market, the story and cut scenes really places it above many other FPS.

Really good scenerio and nice gameplaying look like between COD and BFBC2. Great weapon choices. Really good atmosphere. Multiplayer mode is work fine. I am satisfied and it gets 4 star from me.

Home Front is a great game... For me the gameplay is good the storyline is interesting... I installed this game hoping to spend at least my whole weekend but the game completed in less than 4 hour... This would be a perfect game if gameplay at least last for around 10 hours...

The marketing that they did for this game alone made it worth the purchase, but unfortunately the game doesn't follow up with a gaming experience that's on-par with how well it was portrayed in the marketing. It's still a good game though, that gives you enough content to make your brain feel "full". I definitely recommend the game, and recommend taking a look at the videos that were made for it even more!

I was really looking forward to playing Homefront after trying the demo/beta on my ps3, I had alot of fun and the multiplayer was great. It was like a mix of CoD and BF, shaken not stirred.

However after several issues on the pc I see it is a let down for me, when I try changing the resolution it goes into windows mode and when I try to change to fullscreen it crashes.

After finally getting it to work, the game does not run as smooth as it did on the ps3, or it could be I still need to get used to the game works, it doesn't feel quite so good yet, but I'm still trying to work out the kinks.

Now this is all me, could be that you will run the game perfectly fine, if you do then it is one of the BEST games I've played all year, that is when it works. Even with all the issues I had I still recommend giving the game a shot, if you do get the issues then it is worth the effort to fix it. If you don't get any of the issues then it is the best $5-20 you will spend all year.

Homefront is a really good game, the story is good with some nice cut scenes. There is a good variety of weapons to choose from and realistic urban settings with lots of detail.

I bought this game a few weeks ago when it was on a daily deal and I can definitely say it's worth the discounted price. SP was kinda short (3.5 hours on hard setting) but I liked the scenario, though it's a bit linear and doesn't let you do everything. I'd have given it a 2 or 3 if it was SP-only but its MP is surprisingly fun. Fast game play gives COD feeling but also vehicles and game modes feel like Battlefield. I'll probably play it more than 100 hours online, so if you're a online FPS fan I'd totally recommend it.

If your going in expecting cod then think again. Imagine out of your own house for survival like Red Dawn. That is the appeal of the game for me. The Multiplayer is good, just too bad theirs not many people playing. Single is good but kinda short. but what FPS game is long now a days anyway.

Not the best shooter/FPS out there, but still enjoyable. Drones give the game a little variety to the gameplay and well it handles like most shooter out there otherwise.

Three hours of generic Call of Duty clone. It does contain some pretty DX11 effects unfortunately the game ends far too quickly for one to appreciate anything in it. The story starts off well enough in its silly and arrogant way. Though quickly the somewhat promising characters stop bothering to be characters. Your companions are little more than "follow" dots as the game holds your hand from one uninteresting corridor to the next. The climax of the game seems to be the triumphant moment when you're allowed to open a door for yourself! The 2 1/2 hours of following and waiting for your teammates finally paid off. Or not.

Gorgeous graphic and combat system, sadly MP is dead but you will have fun enough playing this in single player mode, if you have a chance to get your hand on this do it, and if is sale is a safe buy.

I bought Homefront on PS3 on launch day. After about 2 weeks solid multiplayer the game recieved an update which ruined it. The lobbies were empty and the matchmaking was broken. I have now bought this for pc at this AMAZING price so i can enjoy dedicated server browser and full games!

Homefront is a modern FPS, with health regenerating system, lots of weapons and a short single player campaign. The big difference in the story here is that the americans are not the invading force, but the resistance. Multiplayer is fun and, despite being a generic shooter, the game is quite good. But don't expect the online community to survive for a long time.

Very competent but flawed FPS

Homefront doesn't leave a strong impression when you first boot up. Although the story premise is refreshing, presentation will leave quite a bit to be desired as the game can look at least a year old by today's standard.

A lot of the mechanics display competent handling which will give you a familiar feeling if you have played any other top tier shooters in recent years.

Story is very interesting, but campaign is way too short for it's own good. And ending does leave you open for what will likely be a sequel which may or may not happen.

Multiplayer is the biggest surprise, where the developer shows most effort to show their own spin on it to give it their game.

If you have no other shooters play, this is a good diversion. But can't fully recommend a purchase if the single player aspect means a lot to you as a gamer.

Im very dissapointed.

If you desided to play the "campaign" it will take about 1½-2 houres to finish it and you will die 9million times even on easy.

THe story is very wird and rather unrealistic that north korea ect. should take over the world and invade usa.. Here they meet you and you have to fight them back and be the hero ect.

The game focus mostly on multiplayer since the single player part is finished in 1½ - 2 houres.

The game is like the game "call of duty black ops" where you can unlock weapons when you play online and have some rewards.

The price of the game is Extreme compared to how poor it is, im very dissapointed in having wasted money on this product, as well as several of my friends also regret having bought the game.

A horrible game. I was expecting so much more from this game, it turns out it IS indeed just a copy of CoD and other brainless FPS.

Short SP, horrible MP. I finished the SP in 3-4 hours and the MP I tried to play a few rounds yesterday and today, but I just couldnt keep playing. BORING.

Went back to BC2.
