This is basicly a addition to the soviet infantry sprite pack, I recomend buying it, however compatibility with later releases/expansions are uncertain.
This DLC is maybe one of the best DLCs ever make for Hearts of Iron 3. It gives you posibility to envolved in the real WWII. Play fun!
Although well done, it does not add much in terms of gameplay. For hardcore EU fans who want to be grateful to Paradox.
Sprite packs adds a extra dimension for those who like sprites. I'm a more conservative type of gamer and stick to counters, but it's still a nice add on.
This adds well to the realistic component of the game. If you love the game, than you will not be disappointed with this spritepack.
This Soviet Sprite pack adds new tank sprites, which is definately a good thing if you're a tank fanatic like me. It's purely cosmetic changes, so you won't find any gameplay changes with this. If you like to see a more polished game, then this is for you.
It is exactly what you would expect from the title. Soviet sprites(excluding infantry), that's it. Kinda on the cheap side (like $2.00, or something), yet something that really should have been included in the main game anyway. So if you like the game, it definitely improves it substantially, but otherwise you would be better off without it.
This game can get pretty boring at times and these new sprites really help spice up the game.
This spirit pack adds some ships, tanks and aircraft. I really like the ships. My recommendation is to buy al the spirit pack, but if you're gonna choose one for the USSR, this is the one to go with.
This DLC adds more Soviet tank designs in this latest DLC. Now the best quality of the Red Army has some visual variety. This DLC also adds a few planes, ships, and subs to keep players interested for longer hours of play.
I always get these packs just to add to the flavor of the time. I find myself using counters in hearts 3 more than sprites but would suggest this to anyone who needs it to be as accurate as possible.
A good sprite pack that improve the look of the soviet unit. Its a good buy if you play a lot as the soviet, and play with sprites on.
Playing with sprites I love the fact that I can distinguish each unit type aswell as their tech tier. Shortly its awesome for imersion :)
Another excellent sprite pack for anyone playing HOI3. Really improves the atmosphere.
Hah! Want to see Great Red Tide flooding Europe (in-game, of course) in its full majesty? Then get this pack and be satisfied.
In my opinion, each sprite-pack is usefull for improve the atmosphere of HoI3. But otherwise you can ask, wether you need so many sprite-pack, instead few big packs. (?)
Its a very good pack. I feel it makes the game more interesting when different units have different models (some may not have upgraded) so it makes managment inadvertantly easier, but more interesting.
As with other sprite packs... this one is a must have for Soviet players - coupled with the Infantry pack and the Music pack it's highly unlikely you won't be drinking Vodka all clad in Red by sunset. ;)
New graphics for the units; big improved for the original game!
well worth the purchase if you love playing as the russians and prefer sprites, its the little touches that add so much
I must admit I had refrained from purchasing the DLC until the societ ones apperared. When they released a pack with all DLCs, I couldn't resist the temptation. Not necessary strictly speaking, but do actually change the way this games feels...
This is far superior to the standard sprites you get out of the box, especially for history buffs. Keep in mind though you will have to change from counters to sprites in options to see them, though!
