Somewhere, on the edge of a small continent, there's a town. It's called Old Port, because it remembers times of great sailing ships and brave people who used to sail them. Each nook of this charming town has its own story from distant times.
This is where Tony and Annie live. They are 10 years old and their heads are full of dreams. They have made friends with the Captain, an old sea dog, who traveled many seas and knows lots of tales from distant lands. There were times when they all together set off for long voyages. They got to know faraway regions and people who live there. From each of their journey, they brought lots of presents from their new friends. They also wrote many letters and postcards in which they invited each other to visit their homes.
Once, on a beautiful July day, as usual the postman arrived at Tony and Annie's door. However this time he didn't have his bag full and he just handed a single letter to the kids. There was a strong chill coming from it, like it has been mailed from a very cold place.
Here's what was in the letter:
Dear Tony/Annie,
For some time now somebody has been bringing garbage to our clean land. We cannot catch him. We don't have any vehicle that is fast enough. We heard that Professor Glass has an airplane. Find him, please, and come with him to us, to the South Pole.
Professor is conducting a research on one of the islands in the South Seas. I think that Captain, an old sea dog, will find that island without any problem. I send you my best greetings.
Penguin
The message alarmed the kids and they quickly decided that they couldn't leave their friend in danger! They decided to set out on a great journey.

It's cheesy, cheeky, colourful, bright, incredibly short and annoyingly easy. Hey, it's a kiddy adventure game! But is it any good, well not really.
Gameplay is handled by mouse most of the time, with the player clicking various hot spot (with will animate and sparkle...hooohaaa). Doing so results in either coins which can be used to buy totally useless hints or with an item drop needed to complete a task at hand. Ending a “chapter” will require the player to win a mini-game, keyboard controlled this time. This will result in a scream of either “my god it's way too easy” to “this control scheme is a pain”! One example is the “soccer” game which will probably make your kid pull his hair off (and then yours, trying to help him out).
Sound wise, it's not all bad other than the voice acting or should I say “read acting” that pollutes most of the “dialogue”.
Note for parents, it's not an edutainment software so don't expect any learning value other than the “eco” message that initiates the quest.
All in all, the frustrating control and the overly bland gameplay will probably turn off most kids after a short while.
