Grand Ages: Rome - The Reign of Augustus review

Grand Ages: Rome, along with its expansion pack will be very familiar to those of us who have played Civ City Rome. Like Civ City Rome, Grand Ages: Rome has a distinct Roman atmosphere that really enhances the game play. But what makes Grand Ages different from the other Roman city builder games is the complexity of the game. Zoning is much more crucial now, and therefore, providing food, shelter, and entertainment to your people is much more difficult. The graphics also look very polished and nice on the highest setting.

This is a really nice game, it reminds a bit of rome total war with the overall map, but there is an overall campaign, but it is still open, you can build your city, you have to take care of your economy and build an army. The combat system is very nice, as you can move your army in whatever formation you want, and thus taking advantage of the terrain.

This would really be the best alternative to rome total war. If you have become tired of it like me :P
