  • Tactics — A new tactics module, making it much easier to make your team play as you want them to, with thousands of possible pre-set options, touchline shouts for easily changing things around, and instant changes. (the old system is still there for people who love their sliders).
  • News Center — A subscription based newspaper. Get the news about the football world around you that you want, and not the news you don’t want.
  • New Data Editor — A brand new data editor. Not only has the functionality and ease of editing data improved, we are also proud to announce that you can now add competitions and extra levels for leagues currently in the game, and add completely new competitions and leagues all via a very simple to use editor.

Love the football manager series. Excellent games. FM2010 is an improvement on 2009, especially since you can add leagues (like the CONCACAF and CAF leagues which are not included in the initial database). The game's tactical model is new and improved and pretty good, although I was pretty awesome with the slider system too (but that's still included!). Overall a great buy, especially if there's a sale on.

I am not a football person. I cannot mention even 3 players on our national team, and if I watch the game it is only for beer and good company.
Never the less I LOVE this game.
It has great depth and calls for both strategic and tactical thinking. I find myself spending hours and hours managing a small team from my country fighting to improve the team.
I love that all the detail are real and that a country as small as Denmark has been researched to such a level that so many (and small) clubs are included.
If you like turnbased or other slow paced strategy games. Try this. You will not be disappointed.

Once again SI have made the best football management game out there. I tryed both this and championship manager and the difference was huge; Football Manager 10 was just so much better. More realstic, more depth, better tactical engine and also a superb editor.

have been playing this game since 2003...my favorite version was 2006...This version delivers a great match simulation ...the flow of play is great and with the 3-d players you really do see why it is called the Beautiful Game. The interface is a little clunky-just a little. needless scrolling and clicking...but not enough to put me off the game. The GUI is UGLY. Desperately needs skins with better color combinations. I thought the 2006 version in pitch green was perfect. As usual for this series the depth is unfathomable. The best sports game...ever.

One of the classic sport simulation games, i have been playing the series back when they just came out in 1993. Recent versions were not a huge improvement and personally i was not too keen to purchase the newer version. What i liked most about FM2010 is the improved game engine and the improved AI, i never thought i would like watching a bunch of little figures running up and down the pitch, but it is actually very entertaining because they follow out your personally laid tactics. For people which are less into text based games or which did not play previous versions, it could be quite tough to get into, but the tutorials and help pop ups have got allot better.

Anyway, for anyone which likes sports sims or Manager games, this is without a doubt the top game in its genre.

This game is still filled with the magic touch of Sports Interactive. After the two or three first hours you will spend to get accustomed to the new interface, you will get fond of it and crave for the next match.
Touchline shouts are an excellent add-on, as is the match analysis tool.
Nevertheless, even if the fans of the Football Manager series will just find here a weapon of massive and renewed addiction, I would advise a beginner to try the demo first, as the GUI and the match engine, despite of the improvements, remain efficient, informative and not that "beautiful"...
If you need outstanding graphics to enjoy a game, perhaps should you choose something else. You'll get the feelings described in the trailer, but certainly not the graphics... ;)
It's time for me to get back to FM 2010, as the referree will not wait for me to start next match !
