This game has puzzles, battles and a quest. The puzzles are not too complicated but there is not much information given on what the goal of the puzzle is so some of them you have to bumble through until you work out what is required of you. They are skipable and a nice touch is that you can go into the bonus section of the game and replay them and refight the battles without repeating the quest at a later time. My kids aged 4, 11 and 13 all enjoyed it as well but different components of it, the 4 yr old liked the collect all the items mini games, the 11 yr old liked the battles and the 13 yr old liked the puzzles. The hookah smoking dragon that you encounter is particularly cute but the hero's familiar is pretty irritating. Good fun but fairly easily completed.
