Deus Ex: Human Revolution™ - Explosive Mission Pack review
The extra weapons add a little spice to the game. I mean, has a grenade launcher ever NOT been fun? The additional mission is a brief, well-made mission that added some extra interaction with characters that I enjoyed and this DLC mission didn't feel like it was disruptive to the overall story. In fact, I can't say for sure as I haven't played the game without this DLC to see how things are tied together, It is pretty cheap anyways, so not much to complain about. I would recommend buy the DLC when it is on sale.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Explosive Mission Pack review
Cool add-on for Deus Ex. It adds some new content aqth makes an already fun game a little more fun to play. For the price it is definetly worth it.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution™ - Explosive Mission Pack review
The "Automatic Unlocking Device" worth the price in this DLC, easy to use and fast.
About "Tong's Rescue Bonus Mission" it's not a big deal, max. 10 min length short task to get in and talk with the hostage. That's all.
"Remote-Detonated Explosive Device" is lame, low damage and limited range.
I recommend you to buy this DLC while it's on discount.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Explosive Mission Pack review
I picked this DLC up on sale and I would recommend the same for anyone else. The mission is fairly short, but it is a nice little addition for those that have played the previous games in the series. The found the items fun to mess around with, but I did not really use them during my playthrough.
I would rate the additional mission 4/5 and the additional Items 2/5.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution™ - Explosive Mission Pack review
The Tongs missions shorter than expected, but still, if grabbed on a decent sale with a low pricetag, this DLC might be considered acceptable.
At the very least, it doesn't give you loads of cash to which there is no way of declining whatsoever.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution™ - Explosive Mission Pack review
This DLC gives a bonus mission and that's mostly what it's good for, the mission is fairly short, clocking around probably 15 to 30 minutes of gameplay depending your OCD and/or strategy but still fun nonetheless, as for the grenade launcher and the remote detonated device, they aren't that big of an advantage as the weapons you find in-game are usually good anyway and you can actually easily finish the game without using them, and the unlocking device is rarely usable as it's better to hack things for the experience bonuses.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution™ - Explosive Mission Pack review
This DLC is not bad at all. I usually don't like forking over any sort of cash for a DLC but I did it this time because I enjoyed the original game so much that more can't be a bad thing.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution™ - Explosive Mission Pack review
I like that this DLC adds a new mission to the game, but that mission should have been part of the regular game, not as paid add-on content. It was a good mission and the automatic unlocking device can come in handy though. I never bothered with the other two items so I can't comment on those.
Its retail cost of $2.99 is definitely overpriced, but at least it adds something extra to an already amazing game.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution™ - Explosive Mission Pack review
Yet another "hostage"-DLC. It only unlocks a already built-in content. A sham really.
The explosive gel isn't all the good, though it can be used for tactical take-outs, I found that quite amusing. Though it's not really worth it unless you have blue coins lying around.
