Interesting game with technical issues

By mefet posted 16th April

First of all if you have little or no patience with games with bugs or lenghty histories or conversations this game is not for you. Also if you don't like turn based strategy you should also skip this.

If you would like to have some fun with a turn based clasic strategy game, you could have a lot of fun with this game. It has an original background, based in the world created by writer Sergei Lukyanenko. Perhaps is a bit slow sometimes, but I found some of the critics here a bit unfair. This is not an action packed game. It's the kind of game that let's you relax playing it. It also need that you like the novels or games like Vampire to truly enjoy it.

If you are a bit tired or seeing all RPG turn action or shooter, this game can offer you a something refreshing. The only problem is that it only works on windows xp and some other minor bugs, so take that in mind before purchasing. If it wasn't for that, I'll rate it four stars.

I can't rate this game. After so many attempts at trying to get it to work under Win 7, I give up.

If you have Windows 7, don't purchase. Such a shame - great setting and a great turn-based combat engine (from Silent Storm).

Day Watch review

I loved the movie, I loved the idea about a Russian action game, I loved "Silent Storm", I kinda liked the first game "Night watch", I sort of liked the bad translations in the game and I feel like I should like the game mechanics but I didn't like "Day Watch". Hard to put my finger on what's wrong whit the game, It's just not that good. It's to slow paced and it's a bit dumb. I really can't recommend Day Watch, if you just don't have to know what happend to the characters from the first game and like me just cant wait for "Dust Watch".

The story is not based on the move it's a spin-off on the first game, based in the same world as the films. For those who haven't seen the movies: GO do that, they are great, kinda wired but rely good.

I gave the game good point's because there are so many things I should like about it.
