DEMISE: Ascension review
Demise takes you back, and back and back - before the realms of Everquest or your first foot onto Azeroth, and it shows in the graphics. It's not very pretty, but it has that nostalgic charm some of the old MMOs had. If you had full control of your character I'd be all over it, but as it is it is kind of a step-by-step type of game, in the way that Legends of Grimrock is. I wouldn't recommend this one unless you got it on a huge sale during the indie bundles.
DEMISE: Ascension review
I do not recommend this game. I could not enter the game without the company asking me for too much personal information. I have never heard of this company. How can I trust it? How can you trust it? And what gives it the right to demand my address and e-mail address to open a game that I have already paid for. I am very disappointed, and I am disappointed that gamersgate would even allow some company like this to sell their game on its website.
DEMISE: Ascension review
If you are looking for the ultimate in hard-core old school dungeon crawler action with a character customization facility that is a game in itself, look no further. While graphically dated(looks like the last Wizardry or Might and Magic games of the beginning of the 2000's) the graphics are functional and tell you all you need to know and do a good job of immersing you into the game. Game is truly massive and with an incredibly high level cap to boot so you'll be grinding long and hard and satisfyingly for a long time! Highly recommended!
